Rooney Property Management: A Renewed Focus for the Chippewa Valley’s Premier Multifamily Property Team
Rooney Property Management, LLC splinters from Rooney Properties, LLC with a focus on a complete upscale living experience.
In June, local property management firm Rooney Properties announced a split into two entities: Keyhole Capital, focusing on national investments in multifamily property development, and the new Rooney Property Management. The new Rooney Property Management will continue the long tradition of the Rooney Properties brand to provide high-quality, responsive management service to their tenants, and an upscale living experience.
The newly formed entity remains under the leadership of Rooney Properties Founder and CEO, Jim Rooney.
“Our new Rooney Property Management brand is a continuation of the former Rooney Properties commitment to excellence in multi-family residences,” said Mr. Rooney. “We want to set the standard for what it means to have a great rental community.”
While the Rooney Property Management team has traditionally been based in the Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and Menomonie areas, along with the launch of the new brand comes an exciting new chapter in Rooney Property Management’s growth.
“We’re excited to announce that we’re also managing new investments in Colorado and Montana from right here in Wisconsin,” said Mr. Rooney. “We’re excited to continue expanding the horizon of our business and grow our great local team to make this possible.”
Along with the announcement, a new brand and website have been unveiled at rooneypm.com.

While the Rooney Property Management enterprise had a soft-launch in mid 2021, July 2022 marks the official launch of the new business and brand.
Established in 2021, Rooney Property Management manages multifamily properties throughout the Western and Midwest United States. With over 30 years of experience by Founder and CEO Jim Rooney, Keyhole Capital is poised to develop the leading new properties into the middle 2020s and beyond.
