The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company

For over 150 years, Leinenkugel’s has been brewing great beer right here in Chippewa Falls. If you’re a fan of history – or just a fan of beer – Leinenkugel’s is a great nearby stop.

Stop in to the Leinie Lodge for a tour and to taste some great beers on tap. They keep things interesting with ongoing seasonal events, food trucks, and more. Dogs are always welcome on the Leinie’s patio.

Or for a faster visit, stop by their Happy Hour daily on Monday-Thursday evenings and have a pint. It’s a great place to go solo or with friends!

Outdoor spaces are our specialty in the Northwoods. And in Chippewa Falls, the outdoor lover in you will find hours of activities.

Irvine Park and Zoo is a beautiful park space, with ponds and trails, along with a splash pad and zoo for family fun. For larger gatherings, consider reserving a pavilion for a grill out!

A little farther out, you’ll discover Lake Wissota State Park, with miles and miles of biking, hiking, and horseback rails. It even links up with the Old Abe State Trail system – a 20 mile stretch connecting Lake Wissota State Park to Brunet Island State Park.

You’ll find abundant natural beauty and adventure along the way.

Chippewa Falls knows that the strength of a great community is rooted in its downtown. Our community has made the investment in a revitalized downtown – from family treats like Olson’s Icre Cream Parlor and the Chippewa Candy Shop, to a variety of unique shopping experiences.

Rock Fest & Country Fest

On the festival grounds in Cadott, two events a year attract thousands of music fans: Rock Fest and Country Fest.

Each event runs 3 days with 5 stages, and offers great music, great food, and a camping experience like nothing else. Calling Rock Fest and Country Fest “EPIC” still feels like an understatement.

From Park West, you’re just 90 minutes from the action. Stay at home and travel for the day, or camp without being too far from your own backyard. It’s truly something every local should experience at least once.

Chippewa Falls nightlife is pretty special. From historical taverns like the Sheeley House Saloon to great pubs like the Fill In Station, you’ll find plenty of stops to wet your whistle.

For a great dining experience, stop by the Wissota Chophouse on Bridge St for craft beer and steak, or try more international options like Sakura Sushi, Casa Mexicana, or the popular Mahli Thai Asian Cuisine.
